SECTION 40.1-2-17

   § 40.1-2-17  Resident physicians anddentists. – The director of the department of mental health, retardation, and hospitalsshall appoint such resident physicians, dentists, and other physicians, as maybe necessary to give proper attention to the physical and mental welfare of theinmates of the institutions under the control of the department. The generalassembly shall annually appropriate such sum as it may deem necessary tocompensate those appointees.
