SECTION 40.1-2-21

   § 40.1-2-21  Powers as to health ofresidents. – In carrying out the provisions of §§ 40.1-2-16 – 40.1-2-20 thedepartment is hereby vested with full powers of inspection, examination,isolation, and disinfection of all inmates, prisoners, patients, or pupils inany of those institutions, and those powers may be delegated to and exercisedby any attending physician at any of the institutions or by such otherphysician as the director of the department may from time to time designate.
