SECTION 40.1-2-22

   § 40.1-2-22  Religious instructors andservices. – The director of the department of mental health, retardation, and hospitalsshall appoint religious instructors who shall conduct religious services atsuch times and at such places within institutions under the control of thedepartment, and who shall perform such other duties consistent with theiroffice, as may be required of them by the director of mental health,retardation, and hospitals. The general assembly shall annually appropriatesuch sum as it may deem necessary to compensate those religious instructors.
