SECTION 40.1-2-24
§ 40.1-2-24 Compensation of officers andemployees. – The director shall fix the compensation of the officers and employees of theseveral institutions appointed under the authority of this chapter, and of theother institutions under his or her control, within the sum or sumsappropriated to be expended for that purpose.
