SECTION 40.1-2-27

   § 40.1-2-27  Departmental seal. – The department shall have a seal which shall have engraved thereon the words"Department of mental health, retardation, and hospitals, state of Rhode Islandand Providence Plantations," and the seal shall be affixed to all writtencontracts which the department is authorized and directed to make under theprovisions of this chapter, and those contracts shall be signed by the directorof the department. The seal shall also be affixed to such other orders andpapers issued by the department as the department may by rule or order direct.
