SECTION 40.1-22-21

   § 40.1-22-21  State support of poor orindigent clients. – The director may maintain without charge or defray the expense of care andtreatment of such poor or indigent persons as are developmentally disabledclients under treatment in accordance with the provisions of this chapter whoare residents of this state and proper subjects of state aid, who may have beenadmitted to any facility under the provisions hereof, and are not eligible forany other federal and/or state financial assistance.
