SECTION 40.1-5-28

   § 40.1-5-28  Notice of disappearance ofpatient. – When disclosure is necessary for the protection of the patient or others due tohis or her unauthorized disappearance from the facility, and his or herwhereabouts is unknown, notice of the disappearance, along with relevantinformation, shall be made to relatives and governmental law enforcementagencies designated by the physician in charge of the patient or theprofessional person in charge of the facility, or his or her professionaldesignee.
