SECTION 40.1-9-3

   § 40.1-9-3  Payments by state. – The compact administrator, subject to the approval of the chief state fiscalofficer, may make or arrange for any payments necessary to discharge anyfinancial obligations imposed upon this state by the compact or by anysupplementary agreement entered into thereunder.
