SECTION 40-1-5

   § 40-1-5  Reorganizations withindepartment. – Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, any division, bureau, or otherunit or agency within the department of human services, however entitled ordescribed, may at any time be reorganized, divided, consolidated, abolished, orotherwise reconstituted by the director of human services with the approval ofthe governor, as may be desirable for the proper administration and performanceof the powers, functions, and duties assigned to the department, and any changeshall conform with the requirements of § 40-1-4.
