SECTION 40-1-8

   § 40-1-8  Appointment of employees. –The director of the department of human services, subject to the provisions ofchapter 4 of title 36, shall be the appointing authority for all employees ofthe department, and the director may assign this function to such subordinateofficers and employees as may to him or her seem feasible or desirable.
