SECTION 40-11-3.2

   § 40-11-3.2  False reporting of child abuseand neglect. – Any person who knowingly and willfully makes or causes to be made to thedepartment a false report of child abuse or neglect shall be guilty of amisdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than onethousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than one year or both.
