SECTION 40-17-4

   § 40-17-4  Designation of agency. –The Providence center for counseling and psychiatric services ("center") ishereby designated as the agency to administer and develop the homeless mentallyill aid and assistance program ("program") in the city of Providence. Thedepartments of human services and mental health, retardation, and hospitalsshall provide advice and assistance to the center in developing this programand shall review the performance of the center. The center shall make a reporton the administration and progress of this program and report its findingsconcerning the homeless to the "commission on the homeless" on or beforeFebruary 1, 1989 and shall make such interim reports as the commission shallrequire.
