SECTION 40-2-13

   § 40-2-13  Resident physicians anddentists. – The director of the department of human services shall appoint such residentphysicians, dentists, and other physicians, as may be necessary to give properattention to the physical and mental welfare of the inmates of the institutionsunder the control of the department. The general assembly shall annuallyappropriate such sum as it may deem necessary to compensate the appointees.
