SECTION 40-5.2-17

   § 40-5.2-17  Assistance not assignable;exemption from process. – Except as otherwise provided for herein, cash assistance shall not betransferable or assignable at law or in equity, and none of the money paid orpayable under this chapter shall be subject to execution, levy, attachment,garnishment or other legal process, or to the operation of any bankruptcy orinsolvency law.
