SECTION 40-5.2-5

   § 40-5.2-5  Rhode Island Works. – The department of human services and the department of labor and training shallpromote work by:

   (a) Providing assessments, intensive employment services,support services, and transitional cash assistance with the expectation thatparticipants in the Works Program move quickly towards employment.

   (b) Developing stronger employment skills that will lead toself-sufficiency to establish long-term attachment to the workforce.

   (c) Recognizing the equal responsibility of both parents toprovide economic support for their children.
