SECTION 40-6-14

   § 40-6-14  Assistance not assignable –Exemption from process. – Public assistance provided under this chapter shall not be transferable orassignable, at law or in equity, and none of the money paid or payable underthis chapter shall be subject to execution, levy, attachment, garnishment, orother legal process, or to the operation of any bankruptcy or insolvency law.
