SECTION 40-6-25

   § 40-6-25  Rules and regulations. –The department is authorized to prescribe forms and promulgate rules andregulations, which it deems necessary in order to effectuate the intent andprovisions of this chapter. Furthermore, it is the legislative intent of thegeneral assembly that the authority granted in this chapter to the departmentto promulgate rules and regulations, with respect to eligibility forassistance, amount, and standards of assistance and administration of programs,be liberally construed.
