SECTION 40-8-14

   § 40-8-14  Appropriations. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sum as it may deemnecessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter, and the state controlleris hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the generaltreasurer for the payment of such sum or sums or so much thereof as may berequired from time to time, upon the receipt by him or her of properlyauthenticated vouchers.
