SECTION 40-8-25

   § 40-8-25  Nursing facility pharmaceuticalwaste reduction. – The department shall implement one or more methods to reduce the disposal ofunused pharmaceuticals paid for by the medical assistance program for residentsof nursing facilities licensed pursuant to chapter 17 of title 23. Thedepartment shall make a report to the permanent joint legislative committee onhealth care oversight on or before March 1, 2005 regarding the methods employedand any resulting cost savings anticipated.
