SECTION 40-8-30

   § 40-8-30  Suspension of participatingproviders. – Any approved medical assistance provider who declines to participate incontracting for benefits in any one of the department's medical assistanceprograms, including, but not limited to, any and all managed care programs, maybe suspended as a participating provider and denied participation in all stateoperated medical assistance programs at the discretion of the department. Priorto suspension, a participating provider shall have the right to appeal suchsuspension to a state administrative hearing officer, in accordance with therules of the department of human services.
