§ 40-9-18 - Blindness prevention.
SECTION 40-9-18
§ 40-9-18 Blindness prevention. – (a) The department of human services shall, in consultation with the governor'sadvisory council for the blind and Saving Sight Rhode Island, establish ablindness prevention program for children of the state of Rhode Island topromote the screening, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of blindness diseasesof the eye and other sight disorders.
(b) The department of human services shall promulgate rulesand regulations in order to effectuate the purposes of this section.
