SECTION 41-2-2
§ 41-2-2 Chairperson of board –Compensation of members. – The members of the board shall elect one of their number as chairperson uponthe appointment of any new member for a full term and whenever the office maybecome vacant. The members of the board shall not be compensated for theirservices on the board.
