SECTION 41-3-9

   § 41-3-9  Rules as to betting and trackoperation – Deputies. – The division of racing and athletics may make rules and regulations governingthe operation of the tracks and stables. The division may make rules regulatingbetting at the horse racing events. The division may, at its discretion,appoint deputies, not exceeding twenty-two (22), to perform such duties as therules and regulations of the division may require.
