SECTION 41-4-1

   § 41-4-1  Meets at which betting authorized– Types of mutuels. – (a) The division of racing and athletics may permit at racing events, licensedunder the provisions of chapter 3 of this title betting under pari-mutuelsystem, so-called, or auction mutuel system, so-called, except as otherwiseprovided in this chapter.

   (b) Events run under Class A shall be conducted under thepari-mutuel system only.

   (c) Events run under Classes B, C, and E shall be conductedunder the pari-mutuel or auction mutuel system as the division may determine.
