   § 41-5-3  Application for license. –The division of racing and athletics, in the discretion of its chairperson orother officer charged with the enforcement of this chapter, may require anyperson applying for a license to furnish such information and references as itmay desire. Applications for the license shall be accompanied by a fee of notless than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than eight hundred dollars ($800), asthe division shall fix. Voluntary or unincorporated associations shall not beentitled to receive a license, and applications in their behalf shall be madein the name of one or more officers thereof.
