§ 41-9.1-11 - Issuance of single casino license.
SECTION 41-9.1-11
§ 41-9.1-11 Issuance of single casinolicense. – (a) The casino license issued shall remain in effect so long as the licenseecomplies with the provisions below. The initial issuance of the casino licenseshall be valid for a period of five (5) years and shall be renewable forperiods of five (5) years, each upon the payment of a fee in the amount of fivehundred thousand ($500,000) dollars and determination by the state lotterydivision that the casino licensee is in compliance with the suitabilityrequirements of § 41-9.1-22. The fee shall be paid to the state.
(b) Any casino license issued pursuant to this chapter shallbe subject to the continuing duty of the licensee to maintain the suitabilityrequirements of § 41-9.1-22 and all requirements of the state lotterydivision.
