SECTION 42-105-8
§ 42-105-8 Audits. – The books of the Newport County convention and visitors' bureau as they pertainto the revenues derived from the room tax shall be audited by an independentcertified public accountant annually who shall make a report to the bureau, thespeaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, thegovernor, and to each city or town council in Newport County.
