SECTION 42-11.2-4

   § 42-11.2-4  Rental assistance – Unitbased subsidies. – The executive department is hereby authorized to enter into contracts, not toexceed twenty (20) years in duration, to make rental assistance payments toeligible owners which acquire, construct, or substantially rehabilitate housingin which at least fifty percent (50%) of the units shall be available foroccupancy by eligible tenants as defined in § 42-11.2-11. In determiningwhich projects shall receive rental assistance payments, priority shall begiven to applications which contemplate the greatest percentage of units in thedevelopment for occupancy by low income families.
