SECTION 42-112-2

   § 42-112-2  Civil liability. – A person whose rights under the provision of § 42-112-1 have been violatedmay commence a civil action for injunctive and other appropriate equitablerelief, and for the award of compensatory and exemplary damages, within three(3) years after the occurrence of the alleged violation of this chapter. Anaggrieved person who prevails in an action authorized by this section, inaddition to other damages, is entitled to an award of the costs of thelitigation and reasonable attorneys' fees in an amount to be fixed by the court.
