§ 42-12-1.1 - Transfer of functions from the department of education. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 42-12-1.1

   § 42-12-1.1  Transfer of functions from thedepartment of education. – There are hereby transferred to the director of the department of humanservices:

   (1) Those functions formerly administered by the departmentof education with respect to vocational rehabilitation;

   (2) All functions of vocational rehabilitation formerly ofthe department of education and of all other officers, employees, agencies andadvisory councils, committees or commissions of vocational rehabilitation;

   (3) So much of other functions, or parts of functions, of thedepartment of education as is incidental to or necessary for the performance ofthe functions transferred by subdivisions (1) and (2).
