SECTION 42-12-15

   § 42-12-15  Acceptance of federalvocational rehabilitation act – Custody of funds. – The state of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby accepts theprovisions of the act passed by the United States Congress entitled "An Act toProvide for the Promotion of Vocational Rehabilitation of Persons Disabled inIndustry or Otherwise, and Their Return to Civil Employment," approved by thepresident, June 2, 1920. The state department of human services is herebyempowered and directed to co-operate with the Federal Office of VocationalRehabilitation in the administration of that act of Congress within the stateof Rhode Island. The general treasurer shall receive and provide for the propercustody of all money paid to the state from the federal treasury under theprovisions of that act of Congress, and shall disburse the money upon ordersdrawn under the direction of the state department of human services and signedby the executive officer of the department.
