SECTION 42-13-1.1

   § 42-13-1.1  Flag personnel and policeofficers for state highway projects. – The director of the department of transportation, or his or her designee, shallhave the power with respect to all state highway and bridge projects todetermine the necessity for and the number of civilian flag personnel or policeofficers, as the requirements of highway safety may dictate, at the discretionof the director or his or her designee.
