SECTION 42-137-3

   § 42-137-3  Chairperson andvice-chairperson – Meetings – Quorum. – The governor shall, at the time of the initial appointments to the selectcommission, designate one member to act as chairperson and another to act asvice-chairperson of the select commission for one year. Thereafter, the selectcommission shall elect a chairperson and a vice-chairperson. Thevice-chairperson shall act as chairperson in the absence of the chairperson orin the event of a vacancy in that position. The select commission shall meet atleast four (4) times in each year and shall hold meetings when called by thechairperson or, in his or her absence, by the vice-chairperson. Eight (8)members of the select commission shall constitute a quorum.
