SECTION 42-14.2-14

   § 42-14.2-14  Records of transactions to bemaintained. – Every license holder shall maintain a record in the form prescribed by thedepartment to show:

   (1) The motor and serial number of every vehicle acquired tobe wrecked or dismantled, the date of acquisition, and the name and residenceof the person from whom the vehicle was acquired;

   (2) A description sufficient to identify every motor vehiclebody, engine, or other major component which is sold, the vehicleidentification number, the date of the sale, and the name and residence of theperson to whom sold.

   (3) Any other records the department deems necessary.
