   § 42-140-6  Information and educationprograms. – The commissioner, in consultation with the council, shall develop, implementand maintain, a statewide public information and education program with regardto energy supply, energy cost, energy efficiency and conservation, and energyprograms, including programs to help consumers select energy efficientproducts, to evaluate retail and commercial energy resource choices, and toaccess available energy assistance programs including tax credit and rebateprograms.
