SECTION 42-16.1-1

   § 42-16.1-1  Establishment of department– Director. – There is hereby established with the executive branch of state government adepartment of labor and training. The head of the department shall be thedirector of labor and training who shall be appointed by the governor, with theadvice and consent of the senate, and shall serve at the pleasure of thegovernor and until the appointment and qualification of a successor. Thedirector shall receive such salary as provided by law.
