   § 42-17.1-19  Notification by director.– Prior to a hearing at which the director of environmental management seeks toadopt, modify, or repeal standards for air quality, water quality, groundwaterquality, or individual sewage disposal systems, the director shall notify thechairperson of the joint committee on water resources and the chairperson ofthe joint committee on environment and energy of the general assembly and thedirectors of the departments of administration and health and provide them withcopies of the proposed standards. In addition, the director shall annuallyprovide the general assembly with a copy of all standards and regulationsadopted by the department in the previous calendar year.
