SECTION 42-17.1-23

   § 42-17.1-23  Certification of undergroundstorage tank professionals. – No underground storage tank ("UST") or piping system associated therewith shallbe installed, substantially modified, closed or precision tightness tested; norshall any corrosion protection system be installed, repaired or maintained onany such UST or associated piping system unless such work is performed by, orin the presence of, a person who holds a valid, appropriate certificationissued in accordance with chapter 27 of title 28 of the Rhode Island generallaws.
