SECTION 42-17.2-1

   § 42-17.2-1  Declaration of policy. –It shall be the policy of the state of Rhode Island to prevent unnecessaryhazards in the operation of ski tows, lifts, and tramways, to insure thatreasonable design and construction are used, that accepted safety devices areprovided for and that periodic inspections and adjustments are made, all forthe purpose of making safe the operation of ski tows, ski lifts, and passengertramways.
