SECTION 42-17.5-6

   § 42-17.5-6  Governor's advisory committeeon natural heritage preservation. – (a) There is hereby established a governor's advisory committee on naturalheritage preservation which shall: assist the natural heritage preservationcommission in establishing criteria for determining which projects shall beeligible for natural heritage preservation loans, make recommendations to thecommission on projects to receive loans, and advise the commission on relatednatural heritage matters.

   (b) The committee shall consist of seven (7) members to beappointed by the governor and shall include representation from the RhodeIsland League of Cities and Towns and from recognized conservation and naturalpreservation organizations.
