SECTION 42-23-3

   § 42-23-3  Appointment of chairperson andelector members. – At the January session in each odd-numbered year, the governor shall appointfive (5) qualified electors as members of the commission on interstatecooperation to hold office until the first day of February in the second yearafter their appointment, and he or she may designate the member who shall serveas chairperson.
