SECTION 42-28.6-16

   § 42-28.6-16  Immunity of hearing committeemembers. – No member of a hearing committee constituted in accordance with the provisionsof this chapter shall be held civilly liable for any breach of his or herduties as such member, provided that nothing herein shall eliminate or limitthe liability of a qualified member:

   (1) For acts or omissions not in good faith or which involveintentional misconduct or a knowing violation of law; or

   (2) For any transaction from which such member derived animproper personal benefit; or

   (3) For any malicious, willful or wanton act.
