SECTION 42-28.7-1

   § 42-28.7-1  Disclosure of records. –Whenever the Rhode Island state police, or any city or town police or publicsafety department, or any other law enforcement agency in the state of RhodeIsland (hereinafter collectively referred to as "law enforcement agency")engages in the practice of fingerprinting minors pursuant to any voluntary planor program, or at the voluntary request of any minor's parents or guardian, theoriginal, duplicate, and photocopy of the fingerprinting record shall be givento the minor's parents or guardian immediately upon completion of thefingerprinting process. The provisions of this section shall not be waived byany parent or guardian.
