SECTION 42-28-18

   § 42-28-18  Use of jails and places ofdetention. – Any jail, lockup, or other place of detention in charge of any officer of thestate or of any county, city, or town thereof, shall at all reasonable hours beaccessible to any member of the division for detention of prisoners; and akeeper thereof refusing to any member of the division the use of the jail,lockup, or other place of detention shall be punished by a fine of not lessthan ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100).
