§ 42-28-45 - Solicitation in name of state police.
SECTION 42-28-45
§ 42-28-45 Solicitation in name of statepolice. – No person shall solicit money from any individual or business in the name ofthe Rhode Island state police or any organization which would reasonably appearto be affiliated in any way with the Rhode Island state police or personnelthereof without advance written approval by the superintendent. Any personviolating this section shall be imprisoned not exceeding six (6) months and/orfined in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500).
