§ 42-29-24 Service of process on waters.– Any sheriff or other officer duly authorized may serve any writ or otherprocess, whether of a civil or criminal nature, within any part of the watersof Narragansett Bay, and within any waters not more than one marine league fromthe seashore of the state at high-water mark.
