§ 42-30-3 - Appointment of notaries and justices.
SECTION 42-30-3
§ 42-30-3 Appointment of notaries andjustices. – The governor shall appoint as many notaries public for the state, and as manyjustices of the peace for the several towns and cities, as he or she may deemexpedient; and every notary public and justice of the peace, so appointed,shall hold office for four (4) years.
