SECTION 42-31-4

   § 42-31-4  Effectiveness of acts ofcommissioners. – All oaths administered by commissioners, and all affidavits and depositionstaken by them, and all acknowledgments aforesaid certified by them, shall be aseffectual in law, to all intents and purposes, as if certified by any judge,justice of the peace, or notary public, within this state.
