SECTION 42-35-8
§ 42-35-8 Declaratory rulings by agencies.– Each agency shall provide by rule for the filing and prompt disposition ofpetitions for declaratory rulings as to the applicability of any statutoryprovision or of any rule or order of the agency. Rulings disposing of petitionshave the same status as agency orders in contested cases.
