SECTION 42-44.1-8

   § 42-44.1-8  Advances from general fund inanticipation of the issue of notes or bonds. – The general treasurer is authorized from time to time with the approval of thegovernor, in the anticipation of the issue of notes or bonds under theauthority of this chapter, to advance to the fund, to be used for the purposesspecified in § 42-44.1-3, any funds of the state not specifically held forany purpose; provided, however, that all advances shall be returned to thegeneral fund forthwith upon the receipt by the fund of proceeds from the issueof notes or bonds.
